Extruding techniques and possibilities / plastic materials

The forming tools (nozzles) and the adapted process equipment is based on in-house developed production technology.

The extruded products can be processed further in our production line depending on the customer requirements. Examples of this activity is bulging of tube ends, stamping, pattern stamping, die punching, welding of ends etc.

Overview of the extruder process

Parma Plast has established a very good contact with suppliers of plastic materials world wide. We are skilled in choosing the right raw material in co operation with our customers. (Re. product specifications and selection of thermoplastic).

The thermoplastic recipe can contain components to adjust to the required properties as hardness, foaming, surface friction, improved sizing, antifouling, electrostatic charging, resistance to light, and combustibility etc. in order to achieve the required product lifetime by reducing the effect from the environments.

An example. If the product is to be used out doors, a pigment quality that is adapted to the required product lifetime will be selected. This is to adjust for the climatic environment ie UV stability etc.

In order to achieve the required quality, the selected plastic material and additives are pre processed by mixing, homogenising, drying etc. before the extruding process.
